KCKS Cougars Track Club offers a spring/summer and cross country training program that offers fundamentals for boys and girls ages 18 and younger. The KCKS Cougars Track Club is a non-profit organization founded in 1989 by Monroe Anthony in Kansas City, Kansas.
Exceptional athletic ability is not a requirement to become a member, and there are no entry or tryout requirements. Anyone can join. Opportunity for competition is provided, but the emphasis is on setting and reaching personal goals and making health choices. Our athletes also learn valuable life lessons like hardwork, dedication, encouragement, good sportsmanship and respect.
Our club's goal is to encourage and help young people to develop physically, emotionally and socially through their involvement in track & field and cross country. They will learn skills related to track and field and build a positive self-image as they recognize their individual accomplishments and the benfit of making healthy choices.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to encourage teamwork, increase self-esteem, promote self-discipline, determination, healthy choices and motivate young people in their future development.
